PRNewsFoto | Children's Medical CenterDavid Archuleta, former American Idol contestant, could be calling you for a wake up call March 1.

Don't hit the snooze button on March 1. In fact, don't even set the alarm.

Celebrity supporters of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals will delivering wake up calls to their fans to get them out of bed and into an IHOP for a free stack of buttermilk pancakes.

I don't know which I like more -- the free food, or the chance to have an NFL Hall of Famer or singer David Archuleta call my house phone and get my butt out of bed in the morning.

Archuleta, NFL player Steve Young, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals' Co-Founders John Schneider and Marie Osmond, and the new Miss America Teresa Scanlan, are signed on for the wake up call promotion.

IHOP has set a $2.3 million fund raising goal this year -- with all the money aimed for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and local charities.

On National Pancake Day -- March 1 -- IHOP will give guests a free stack of pancakes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. in exchange for a donation. The program started in 2006 and has raised more than $5 million.
