David Archuleta - Fireworks and Perfection

Stadium of Fire Concert
By Pamela Pike

Saturday night's spectacular showing, Stadium of Fire 2011, brought forth a patriotic celebration with epic proportion.
Country music star Brad Paisley and native Utah singing phenomenon David Archuleta headlined the concert. The top three finalists from the Stadium of Fire talent search and a cast of many talented performers provided an amazing show, with a spectacular fireworks display choreographed with a musical program that lit up Provo's sky.
Acoustics were fabulous and it was refreshing and moving, and we were blessed to witness such an amazing deep and positive musical experience. America who doesn't love it? Nothing quite reeks of the good old USA than a down home music concert.
Starting off the evening with the National Anthem, David Archuleta gave a stirring performance and captivated the audience.
Handsome and heartbreakingly good, David's singing is infectious. He is able to blend his voice towards whatever circumstances the material calls for.
It was time to showcase our patriotism and David Archuleta singing "America The Beautiful "/ "My Country Tis of Thee" - if tears don't well up In your eyes upon hearing his version of this patriotic gem then you truly must be heartless.
As wonderful as Brad Paisley's performance was, there was no question that David Archuleta was the star of the show. David jumped around the stage and his voice rang out clear, strong and distinctive as it always does and his band matched him in energy and aptitude.
Brad Paisley's set according to some lasted too long and many wished David's set had been more extensive, I agree. His killer, "Stomping the Roses", was adorned with a group of dancers waving roses, which some query, How was this pitched to David? None the less he seemed to deliver his vocal acrobatics, each time meet with thousands of rapturous screams.
It was a glorious evening fit for proud Americans of all ages!
